Indigenous Employment Officer As part of Boral's organisational strategy there is a requirement for an Indigenous Employment Officer on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months. The main focus of the role is to support the National Recruitment Team and overall Boral business for Indigenous matters that relate to talent. Based in North Ryde, you will initially provide administrative support to multiple recruiters across Australia. Following on from this, you will support the National Recruitment Manager and National Indigenous Affairs Manager with RAP targets and identify strategies to develop on our existing indigenous talent pool. You will partner with internal and external recruitment providers, Not for profits, and local communities to develop relationships within this field. The ultimate goal is to build a strong network and talent base to support Boral recruitment initiatives. The main responsibilities will include: Administrational tasks relating to the Pageup recruitment system Assisting with new and current employee onboarding processes Conduct reference and background checks both online and verbal Facilitation and coordination of medicals, review and administration Provide recruiters with timely updates on current tasks and deadline achievements Management of medical and recruitment Inboxes Attending to Boral hotline and general enquiries Partner with Indigenous Affairs Manager on Indigenous related matters, RAP actions, community events and project recruitment Develop networks within the community Build a talent pool for current and future recruitment initiatives Provide support and guidance to current employees To be considered for this role, you display to below skills and attributes; Flexible and adaptable to changing environments Able to work with set KPI’s and have proven history in achieving deadlines Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work autonomously and proactively To be accurate, and display attention to detail Be highly motivated and committed to the full term of the role A positive and helpful attitude Our North Ryde office is located within walking distance to the metro train station and public buses.
