The Recruitment and Selection team is accountable for internal and external applications for new and existing roles, graduate recruitment, merit-based transfers, selection processes for promotion opportunities and liaison with suppliers regarding the engagement of temporary resources. An opportunity is available at our Doncaster Head Office to join our fun, hardworking and dedicated Recruitment and Selection team on an ongoing basis as we support the organisation at an exciting time in its history. About the role Reporting to the Lead, Recruitment & Selection, the responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Coordinating and providing recruitment and selection advice to relevant internal stakeholders • Managing end-to end recruitment processes including scheduling, interviewing, reference checking and coordinating employment contracts • Participating in recruitment and selection related projects • Assessing candidates at AV-designed assessment centres (if required) • Contributing to the implementation and review of selection activities, through the lens of a continuous improvement orientation • Commitment to candidate management and enhancing the client experience • Providing training on behavioural interviewing methodology, if required. About you The successful candidate will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related business discipline, as well as demonstrated experience in undertaking all aspects of large scale recruitment campaigns, preferably across the public sector. In addition to your end-to-end recruitment experience and behavioural interviewing expertise, you will bring a willingness to move between roles and tasks, as operational demands necessitate. Being a recruitment expert, you will have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and strong placement outcomes. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, as well as the willingness to travel throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, are necessary for this role. Experience with Springboard or an e-recruitment system would be advantageous but is not essential. What's in it for you?
