About the role   To support the growth of the AWS business in ANZ, the Talent Acquisition team are responsible for identifying and hiring the best talent across Australia and New Zealand. The Head of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading the internal TA team in ANZ while actively engaging with the leadership team in ANZ and key business stakeholders across the region. As a pragmatic leader, you will report to the Regional Director Talent Acquisition- APJC, and be responsible for setting the direction/strategy for the TA function to support the hiring demands of our rapidly growing business in addition to proactively driving innovation across the team. As part of the Asia Pacific & Japan TA leadership team, you will interact with the recruiting leadership team and business leaders to understand how to best position AWS in the market while ensuring a positive candidate experience is front of mind. As you will be accountable for all AWS hiring across ANZ, this role requires you to build breadth across technical, sales and support teams and deep knowledge of each business and their unique hiring challenges. This role will suit a Head of TA /TA Leader who has experience in building and then operating a highly visible and engaged TA team. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Lead & manage an experienced team of Recruiters/Sourcers in ANZ Setting the direction/strategy of the team to help support the hiring demand of this rapidly growing businesses. Positively represent the ANZ TA Team as a member of the ANZ AWS Leadership Team, in global business meetings and global TA meetings. Partner with TA Operations, Leadership Hiring and Central Sourcing Team to optimize operational process flows and identify ways to deliver a consistent, scalable, customer obsessed recruitment experience to all stakeholders Drive simplification and increase productivity across the team Capacity planning to ensure the team is adequately staffed Drive the best possible candidate and referee experience, delivering on key internal SLA's Drive candidate feedback surveys and participate in other recruiting/HR initiatives to provide the best recruiting support Skills and experience   Experience people manager with 10+ years of experience. Proven track record in mentoring, coaching and developing a team Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, senior leaders and peers alike A highly structured and organised individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously Track record of managing a high performing Talent Acquisition team Ability to prioritize, make high quality judgments and decisions quickly A high attention to detail to identify risks, dive deep and discover the key cause and impact of options, decisions and outcomes; Have a bias for action and a hunger for delivering results with relentless high standards
