To do this we need a dedicated recruitment team to support our business and provide them with the resources required. Due to growth requirements, we have a great fixed term support opportunity to join the Downer Recruitment Team making a real difference for our successful Downer Infrastructure Projects business unit. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will support and work within a progressive, forward thinking team. You’ll be part of a team of Recruiter’s and administrators who work closely and collaboratively where you’ll provide high levels of recruitment support across extremely busy and fast paced portfolios. This is a key function within the Recruitment team, and you will administer all the process support to ensure a robust recruitment outcome is achieved including pre-screening, interview bookings, pre-employment checking and on-boarding of new employees. You will work closely with the Recruiters to understand the job families and requirements to ensure a great service level is provided internally and externally. As part of a wider recruitment team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in broader projects to continually lift our service to the business and further develop yourself across all areas of recruitment. We are looking for high achievers who enjoy working at pace, have initiative and drive and most importantly attention to detail. Administration experience in a high volume workload environment is essential and it would be a preference that you will have had some exposure or experience in either Recruitment or HR. Workloads change quickly in our business and priorities shift day to day so you will be able to multitask and proactively support the team. Excellent computer skills, an ability to work independently, high attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures will be key qualities we will be seeking, along with a passion to deliver a great experience to our customers. Your communication skills, both written and verbal will be excellent and you will be able to naturally build strong relationships across everyone you interact with.
