HR Administrative Assistant

Are you a calm and proactive administration professional looking to work in a fast paced, friendly setting?

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised person to be responsible for providing administrative support to the Careers Team and assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR function.


  • Providing administrative support to the Careers Team including the preparation of highly confidential correspondence and reports.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries including monitoring all email accounts to ensure that enquires are responded to in a timely manner. 
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selections process by posting job ads, arranging interviews, completing reference checks, issuing offer letters and ongoing candidate management.
  • Updating and managing all relevant HR databases and systems (e.g. PageUp and KUCas) to ensure that accurate information and records are maintained.
  • Providing on-boarding information to hiring managers and other stakeholders and assisting new and existing employees with the on-boarding process.
  • Any other ad hoc HR administration and project support as required.

This is a Full Time 12 month Fixed Term Contract working in our Sydney CBD office, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day and accruing a monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).


You should have a drive for helping people, providing administrative support and prioritising work effectively. You will collaborate with employees from different teams, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

To succeed in this role you should have;

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • The ability to recognise the importance of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive and personal information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the desire to liaise closely with both internal and external stakeholders daily.
  • Have the agility and ability to act with a sense of urgency, while still exercising strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate experience using MS, excel and word.

Previous experience in a similar role including working with PageUp or a similar recruitment applicant tracking system will be highly regarded.
