About the job

The Recruitment team is part of the People and Quality team within Activ. The People and Quality team comprises of Human Resources, Occupational Safety and Health and our registered training organisation, Activ Pathways.  The People and Quality team are responsible for strategically guiding and leading the delivery of best practice People and Quality outcomes across the organisation. The portfolio focuses specifically on strategic human resources, capability development, health and safety, customer liaison and quality.

The recruitment team partners with stakeholders to deliver talent acquisition advice and solutions to the organisation. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager you will work within a collaborative team backed by strong systems and innovative processes. The role undertakes activities associated with best practice recruitment, selection and engagement aligned with the Activ’s values. As a recruitment partner you will be actively sourcing Support worker candidates to help support our customers achieve their goals. Proactive candidate sourcing will be required to assist with talent acquisition of a variety of white collar opportunities within Head office.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years recruitment experience
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated ability in proactive candidate sourcing
  • Experience in building & utilising Talent pools
  • Strong experience of best practice recruitment solutions & continual service improvement
  • High volume recruitment experience
  • Assessment center experience (desirable)
  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System.
