  • $40-$60 per hour + Super, depending on experience | 40hours per week
  • NSW State Government | Redfern Location
  • ASAP Start | 5-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend

Our large NSW State Government client serves the community by leading the provision of world-class education. They are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Redfern for an immediate start.
Working on the Information Technology Directorate recruitment campaign within the Customer Experience and Service Delivery branch, you will be required to successfully source and recruit a variety of positions including field operations staff across NSW. 

Your duties will include but won’t be limited to the following: 

  • Identify, design and implement talent resourcing strategies including candidate attraction, selection criteria and candidate evaluation.
  • Assist with coordination and management of recruitment campaign
  • Manage comprehensive end to end recruitment process including; advertising, culling, telephone screening, interviewing, psychometric assessments and reference checks
  • Maintain appropriate records and files for applicants and new starters, uploading documents into Taleo HR management system, ensuring compliance
  • Arrange and schedule interview panellists, meeting rooms and candidate movements on the day including welcome, ushering, pre-briefing and candidate forms
  • Ensure all vacancies are filled with suitable candidates within targeted timeframes
  • Establish and maintain effective candidate communications and engagement
  • Manage complete hiring and onboarding process
  • Generate regular recruitment related statistics and reporting as requested
  • Ensure all recruitment policies and procedures are adhered to, identifying gaps and recommending improvements

To secure this great assignment you will have the following:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of the recruitment function with demonstrated capabilities to work within legislation and policy guidelines.
  • NSW Public service Government Sector Employment (GSE) Recruitment experience essential
  • Demonstrated experience in utilising computer bases recruitment systems such as Taleo HR management system
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Thorough analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A strong team and task focus
  • Ability to commence the assignment and commit to the duration
